LCV is a world-leading alternative choir with a unique contemporary sound founded by ILĀ* and Didier Rochard for Grammy winning artist Imogen Heap's concert Love The Earth at Royal Albert Hall in 2010.

Since then the choir has worked with 100+ artists including 18 Grammy winners/nominees. LCV has featured on Elbow’s UK No. 1 album Little Fictions and multiple national/international campaigns.

London Contemporary Voices has appeared at two BBC Proms, several Burberry Fashion Shows, soundtracked the Harry Potter plays and appeared on Later.. with Jools Holland and a BBC Special with U2 at Abbey Road. The choir returned to Abbey Road for The Beatles’ 50th Anniversary BBC Radio 2 special with the BBC Concert Orchestra. In 2020 the choir performed at the Tommy Hilfiger London Fashion Week show as well as at the World Economic Forum closing ceremony in Davos with beatboxer Reeps One.

As Director of LCV ILĀ has organised and been involved with numerous large scale shows and productions including performances at at Royal Albert Hall, O2 Arena, The Barbican, Royal Festival Hall, Brixton Academy, Hammersmith Appollo, The Roundhouse, and Union Chapel.
